I see myself as easygoing and relaxed, always aiming to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for my clients. I understand that being in front of the camera can be nerve-wracking, so my goal is to make a space where you can feel confident, be yourself, and capture genuine moments. My passion for art drives me, and I love bringing joy to people, getting to know them, and meeting new individuals. The best part of my job is connecting with people, making them laugh, and exploring beautiful locations through travel, which helps me grow personally and professionally.

Where it started...

I've always loved making art since I was little. I dreamt of being a famous artist like Claude Monet. After high school, I studied fine arts at Rhode Island School of Design. Then I tried a photography class and fell in love with it. After I had my children, I took a break to be a stay-at-home mom for a few years. But I felt like I wanted more from life. I went back to working at a portrait studio, but I felt unappreciated. That's when I thought, "Why don't I start my own business?" 17+ years later Im happier than I could ever be!

My approach to portraits.

GIVE STRUCTURE, WHILE ALLOWING NATURAL INTERACTIONS TO SHINE THROUGH. 

I want personalities to come through in my images, but I don't want to leave you hanging. I'll give direction for how to stand, where to put your hands, etc. so you're not totally lost. But then allow you to have some natural interaction so your relationships show up in frame!

What can you expect from me?

A calming presence, I pride myself on bringing a calm energy to your session/wedding. Both sessions and weddings bring their own unique challenges and stresses. I aim to make sure that that stress is as minimal as I'm able to influence it to be. When stress arises I do my best to bring the stress down. Even in high stress moments (like family formals) I do my best to keep everyone relaxed and get though things as painlessly as possible!
